Arc Rise Fantasia - preview

If you're looking for a 60-hour epic on the Wii, then you will want to keep an eye out for Arc Rise Fantasia when it is released on June 22.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 - prvi utisci

What I can say is that Mario and his sidekick Yoshi are filled with more brand-new moves than we’ve previously heard about at E3 or the recent media summit. Mario can roll up into a rock and bash around the levels, and Yoshi can eat Glimmer Bulb Berries that cause him to phosphoresce

NBA Jam - preview

What really set the NBA Jam presentation was the visual style that the team's going for: 3D character bodies with 2D photorealistic heads that change depending on the players' mood and position. The style had a very South Park or Jib Jab feel, as the heads were clearly moving independently to the bodies. But it's a style that works extremely well to the over-the-top arcade action of NBA Jam.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands - na prvi pogled

The classic Prince of Persia puzzle mechanic is still at work here, as is the fully explorable 3D world that The Sands of Time brought to the table. Players will still need to navigate areas filled with traps and pitfalls while figuring a way through elaborate structures, getting from point A to B by clinging to walls and climbing ledges.

Red Steel 2 - na prvi pogled

IGN
The gameplay itself is similar to the original, but everyone was asking the question while I was playing it: does it play as badly as the original Red Steel? And no offense to those who actually liked the first game in the series, but that title suffered from "Launch Title-itis," and the control was, honestly, kind of crummy. That's not surprising since developers had very little time to fine-tune Wii pointer and motion controls for their first-gen Wii titles. Red Steel 2, thankfully, does not suffer from these problems.

Eurogamer
Watching VandenBerghe - who, granted, has had a fair bit of experience by now - play through one of the game's later stages suggests that once you've really got to grips with things you can blast around Ubisoft's world with real style, leaving an expert series of gored nasties in your wake.

Joystiq
Red Steel 2 may have received a cosmetic makeover from its predecessor, but it's still lacking a key element: fun. Perhaps 2010 will change all that, and I'll be able to enjoy an inspired version of Red Steel 2 ...

Xenoblade - novi info

Your movement through the world will be seamless. "We've put effort into this," said Takahashi, "because we felt that in order to show a living world, we needed an overwhelming sense of scale, like that of an MMORPG."

Bit.Trip Runner - IGN preview

This is the most challenging Bit.Trip, yet. It's all about timing and memorizing the layout of each stage. If you get tripped up you have to go all the way back to the beginning of the stage -- there are no checkpoints. Luckily, the layouts are set in stone, as opposed to the randomly generated levels of Canabalt. Levels are fairly short and you can keep trying as many times as it takes.

Trauma Team - preview

Although my experience with Trauma Team was fast and to-the-point, I'm already excited to play this one from start to finish. Sure, some might call the story segments "cheesy," but I totally ate that up. Bring on the adorable Japanese archetypes and give me some lives to save.

Super Monkey Ball: Step and Roll - GS preview

While the first few stages proved a cinch because of the simple level design (a straight line from start to finish), the game was quick to turn up the heat. Each stage is designed to be a little more difficult than the last--tighter turns, more obstacles, more navigational puzzles, and more uneven terrain. Taking on these stages with a controller is one thing; relying on your centre of balance and coordination skills to navigate your way around them is quite another.

Monster Hunter 3 - CES 2010 preview

The long-running and immensely popular series puts you in control of a fully customized hunter and then challenges you to quest through the mountains in search of huge monsters to kill. Straightforward enough. Hardcore fans have united around the series for its expansive world, unique monsters, fun carving system in which you can create weapons from dead creatures and more, and the addictive four-player online cooperative mode.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers - preview

The storyline is one of the most refreshingly simple, fun, and exciting elements of the game, with the direction in the cutscenes also impressive for the Wii. It's clear a lot of love went into this game, and I for one am hugely excited to see how the English localization comes out.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney sa DS-a stiže na WiiWare

The game’s transition to the Wii has resulted in some tweaks to the control, namely removing the second screen that shows off evidence and info you’ll use during a trial. The inventory screen will be something you’ll have to call up and toggle between during the game. In addition the game will support motion control so you’ll wiggle the Wii remote to press witnesses during cross examination and point, in suitably dramatic fashion, to present evidence. The controls were a little finicky in the work in progress version of the game we saw, but seemed to work okay once we got the motions right. The only downside to the Wii conversion is the omission of the bonus episode that appeared on the DS version of the game. The episode is slated to be downloadable from the game, for a price, in May of next year.

But really what can be said for the game, Crystal Bearers is just full of charm and personality that the mainline FF has lacked for quite awhile now. I absolutely love it.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories - na prvi pogled

One thing we'll be interested to see pan out in the final version of Shattered Memories is the role of psychology. Near the beginning of the game, Harry finds himself in a psychologist's office discussing events that happened in Silent Hill. One of the very first things you do is take a psych test that asks some rather personal questions, and it isn't the last test you'll take. Later, you'll have to color in a picture and then rearrange a completely different set of pictures into one of two categories. Your answers on these tests inevitably affect things happening in the game.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii - multiplejer pogled

New Super Mario Bros. Wii may follow the same tried-and-true formula as its predecessors, but there are quite a few changes this time to make it worth your while. With a great mix of new enemies and old faces, it will surely bring back pleasant memories of classics such as Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World. Grab some friends and look for New Super Mario Bros. Wii when it's released on November 15.

Epic Mickey - EG preview

In motion, Epic Mickey looks lively and solid, a polished example of a licensed cartoon adventure - but not a whole lot more. Its aesthetic isn't as stark as the leaked concept art might have suggested, and its flexibility and depth aren't immediately apparent beneath the busy, colourful action.

Epic Mickey - preview

The game is still a fair ways off, and it'll be a while before I actually see how paint, thinner, mission, enemies, and all that work together. But hearing how Spector talks about the game, and the sheer passion he has for both this title and Mickey himself, is enough for me to give it a closer look when Spector's ready to show more.

Monster Hunter 3 (tri) - EG preview

The first thing that you notice about Monster Hunter Tri isn't the high-standard graphics or new-and-improved tweaked battle controls, oh no - it's the fact that everybody appears to be wandering around in assless chaps and thongs.
