From the packaging, it is easy to tell who the target market for this game is. To compare My Horse to a game such as Halo 3 or Assassin's Creed is wholly unfair. For parents, a game like this is probably something they have been waiting for. There is nothing violent or objectionable; it's a heck of a lot cheaper than buying for a horse and riding lessons and is a well made game with some decent production value. Admittedly, the Wii-mote motion control of your horse's reins is fun and we were surprised at how it held our attention. As far as horse games go, My Horse and Me is a thoroughbred.
